LG Fashion Week alias Toronto Fashion Week

I always love fashion..It is something that I can not live without. So when I first came here, I try to learn as much as possible about Canada's or Toronto's -to be exact- fashion world. After a long search, I found out that this city has 2 most famous in-house magazine -- fashion and flare. Besides that, it also has Elle Canada and of course, US Vogue. So every month, I always read 3 of them: Fashion and Elle Canada which I subscribed on, and US Vogue which I always buy every month.

Merasa tidak puas dengan hanya membaca majalah, gw mulai merambah ke real fashion world in here. My best source? Rama Luksiarto pastinya. Good thing I know him. He taught me many things about Toronto's fashion world. He even encouraged me to apply to be a volunteer for LG Fashion Week by L'oreal Paris (This is their 22nd year) which used to be Toronto Fashion Week. After a long, tiring wait, I finally get accepted to be a volunteer in fashion environment one. And so here I am, making my first baby steps in pursuing my passion in this so called fashion world.
P.S:
1. Toronto fashion week is not as extravagant or spectacular as Eddy Betty's or Seba's or Biyan's, but it has a neater backstage and more coordinated looks cycle.
2. I thought being a volunteer will be easy, turns out to be not. They said that the applicant reached almost 1.000 and they only accepted half of it. gimana cari kerja? beuhhh..makin hese...
3. I sneak Mel in for an hour..LOL..She even gets the volunteer shirt!

si sponsor..btw, pas hari selasa kan president of L'oreal datang ke acara ini, security kaga ada yang tau mukanya kaya apaan..Nah ternyata, ada orang nipu ngaku ngaku jadi Presidentnya..pas dia udah asik asik duduk di lounge terus minum champagne dll, datanglang president yang asli..securitynya kesel abis, langsung ditendang keluarlah si imposter..Literally!

Barbie box..itu yang di dalem namanya Dina..dia presenter Breakfast Television di CityTV..Kemaren ini dia lagi take buat the next show..Seru abis..gw disuruh jadi extra gitu sama dia..pura pura jadi paparazzi yang motretin dia..

with Jessica Biffi..One of the designer..dia pernah ikutan Project Runway Canada tapi kaga menang..Ada juga sih foto gw sama desainer lainnya..tapi ada di bb..She is so nice..seneng kali ya punya fans hahaha..dia ngedesain baju buat wanita berukuran 14+ nehh..So, say bye bye to sweat shirt and hello to J.Biffi. Big is beautiful (and) stylish!
